Sectional speed measurements will be installed in 43 locations in Poland, eight of which will be located in the Masovian Voivodeship.

The Automatic Road Traffic Supervision Center signed a contract with Sprint SA for the delivery and installation of 43 devices. sectional speed measurement.

“The locations where new sectional speed measurements will be installed were selected in cooperation with the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, which manages traffic on national roads, and the Police. These are places where, due to the real safety threat caused by excessive speed, it was necessary to install devices for automatic control. Each location of the system will be preceded by an information road sign,” the Chief Road Transport Inspectorate said in a press release.

The cost of installing 43 devices will amount to nearly PLN 85 million. zloty. The first sectional speed measurements will be installed in the middle of this year. The contractor has until the end of June next year to complete the entire contract.

List of new sectional speed measurements

The list of roads where sectional speed measurements will be installed includes several locations in the Masovian Voivodeship: – A2 motorway from the MiÅ„sk Mazowiecki junction to the Janów junction (12.1 km);
– S2 expressway from the Konotopa junction to the Opacz junction (4.6 km);
– S7 expressway from the Tarczyn PoÅ‚udnie junction to the Mszczonowska junction (7 km);
– S17 expressway between the Garwolin Zachód and Garwolin PoÅ‚udnie junctions (6.7 km);
– S7 expressway between the Radom Północ and Wolanów junctions (16.4 km);
– S8 expressway from the Zielonka junction to the WoÅ‚omin junction (6.3 km);
– S8 expressway near Nadarzyn (2.6 km);
– S8 expressway from the PuchaÅ‚y junction to the Opacz junction (2.7 km).
