Masovian. Spring change of train timetable. How will SKM and KM go

For passengers of the fast city railway, the timetable correction is not associated with significant changes. Only on the S2 line, night trains will go on a short route. Koleje Mazowieckie is preparing larger changes. Some trains will go on shortened relationships, the movement of others will be suspended due to renovation works.

On Sunday, March 9, the spring correction of the annual train timetable will come into force. It will apply until June 14.

Fast city railway

For fast city trains, it does not involve significant changes in the course. The infrastructure manager, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, does not provide for the implementation of works affecting the run of SKM trains lines S1, S3, S4 and S40.

Slight changes are waiting on the line S2. Selected late S2 line trains will run on shortened routes. IN Night from 0:00 to 4:00 Warsaw Chopin Airport – Warsaw Rembertów.

In turn, at night 8/9, 9/10, 10/11 and 11/12 March from 0:00 to 3: 55 – due to the construction of a new viaduct along ul. Chełmżyńska trains will go in a shortened relationship Warsaw Chopin Airport – Warsaw Wschodnia.

Koleje Mazowieckie

The changes await those traveling by Mazowieckie Railways. In connection with the telephone announcement of trains on the section of Ożarów Mazowiecki – Błonie in May 30 – June 14, the hours of airport trains will change and the relationships or hours of some trains running along the cross -city line.

R2 Warsaw – Łuków

On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, between 00:00 and 04:00, due to the works carried out on the Warsaw Rembertów – Sulejówek Miłosna section, train traffic will be suspended. The last train 19801 on selected days will be replaced by bus communication on various sections.

R3 Warsaw – Łowicz Główny

On May 30 – June 14, due to the work related to the launch of a new railway traffic control system, on the section of Ożarów Mazowiecki – Błonie, telephone announcement of trains will be introduced. Some KM trains will run in a shortened report from/to Ożarów Mazowiecki. Selected trains will have a limited number of stops.

Replacement bus communication will be launched on the section Błonie – Ożarów Mazowiecki. On business days on train No. 12480: Błonie (at 16:42), Błonie Rokitno (at 16:49), Płochocin (at 16:59), Ożarów Mazowiecki (Fig. 17:19). In turn, on the weekend time on the train 91464: Błonie (at 16:46), Błonie Rokitno (at 16:53), Płochocin (at 17:03), Ożarów Mazowiecki (at 17:23).

R31 Kutno – Sierpc

As a consequence of the work on the section Raciąż – Sierpc, in April 22 – June 14, the traffic of KM trains will be suspended on the Sierpc – Płock section. In exchange for trains, replacement bus communication will be launched.

In connection with the replacement of switches at the Strzelce Kujawskie station, for two weekends, the following, on May 16 (from 20:00) to 19 May (until 04:00) and 23 May (from 20:00) to 26 May (until 04:00) for trains on the Płock – Kutno section, replacement bus communication will be launched.

In addition, train No. 51350 Sierpc report 12:16 – Płock 13:15 will be replaced by substitute bus transport from March 9, 2025.

R6 Warsaw – Czyżew

In cooperation with POLREGIO, in the afternoon, Mazowiecki Railways managed to establish two new communication in Czyżew, which will facilitate travel in both directions.

No. 10981 (Małkinia at 14:15 – Czyżew at 14:35) from No. 10367 (Czyżew at 14:40 – Białystok at 15:40), No. 10358 (Białystok at 4:50 pm – Czyżew at 17:55) from No. 11960 (Czyżew 19:55).

Additional changes in trains on the line:

Train No. 11960 on business days was extended and will run with CzyżeWa (at 3:14), train No. 11912 was shortened and will start the route from Łochów (at 6:27), train No. 11966 of Małkinia (OR 21:27) – fat (at 22:11) was launched on working days.

Due to the telephone announcement of trains on the Warsaw Wileńska-Zielonka section, the time of trains will change within 9-14 June 9-14, and some trains will be canceled.

R82 Radom – Drzewica

In connection with the repair work on the Wolanów – Drzewica section in March 9 – May 19, trains will run at changed hours.

R9 Warsaw – Działdowo

Train reports were extended from/to Działdowo:

R91 Nasielsk – Sierpc

From March 9 – April 21, in connection with renovation works, the movement of KM trains between Raciąż and Nasielsk will be suspended. In exchange for trains on this section, replacement bus communication will be launched.

In April 22 – June 14, the train traffic will be suspended on the section Raciąż – Sierpc. In exchange for a replacement bus communication will be launched.

R92 Legionowo – Fat

On March 9 – April 21, in connection with the development of switches, the traffic of KM trains will be suspended on the Raciąż – Fat section.

Changes in mutual honoring of tickets

From December 15, 2024 Honorating all types of WTP tickets on the Mazowieckie Railways trains ceased to be in force. KM trains can still be used with important WTP and longer tickets as part of the offer of a joint ZTM-KM-WKD ticket.

However, the mutual honoring of ZTM – KM tickets on the Warsaw Chopin Airport – Warsaw Wschodnia – Warsaw Płudy is constantly obliged.
