A body of an 84-year-old was found, who disappeared over a month ago in Miastko (Pomeranian Voivodeship). Policemen, the army took part in the search, a helicopter and drones were used. The body was accidentally found by an employee of the Forest Services Department.

Sergeant Dawid Łaszcz from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Bytów told us that on Friday an employee of the Forest Services Department found a woman's body near Węgorzynko. It turned out to be a 84-year-old sought after for a month.

– The woman was wearing the same clothes as when she was last seen. This was also confirmed by the family of the deceased. We inspected the place of finding the body, we also questioned the man who discovered it – said Łaszcz.

He added that by the prosecutor's decision, the woman's body was secured for sectional examinations.

The search lasted for a month

The 84-year-old left the house in Miastko on March 20. The family reported her disappearance when she didn't come back.

The services started immediately extensive search. Police officers were helped by WOT soldiers, a specially police helicopter was brought.

A woman's body, an employee of the Forest Services Department found in the vicinity of Węgorzynko, less than five kilometers away from Miastko.
