A 58-year-old resident of the Góra Kalwaria commune lost its orientation in the field while walking with the dog. Terrified and cold, she called the emergency number, asking for help. Policemen started the search campaign.

It all started with a dramatic phone to the 112 emergency number.

– A 58-year-old woman, a resident of the Góra Kalwaria commune, went for a walk with the dog and at some point lost her orientation in the field. Terrified and cold, she didn't know where she was or how to go home. There was frost outside, and darkness was slowly falling over the forest. The duty officer directed patrols, including a guide with a tracking dog. Policemen began the search campaign, trying to find a woman as soon as possible. Despite the nervousness, the 58-year-old kept in contact with officers. However, she only provided residual information – she said that only the forest could see around and could not indicate any characteristic point.

They found her on the edge of the forest

– Policemen in the field decided to turn on the sound signals, and soon the woman heard the sound of police sirens. It was a key moment, they located it on the outskirts of the forest. She was frozen, scared and tired. Policemen immediately provided her with care. They covered him to warm up and remain with her until the lifeguards arrive – he describes the horseshoes. The 58-year-old saved in a touching letter thanked the officers for their commitment, care and professionalism.

“Everything ended well, and I can write these words with gratitude and respect,” she wrote.
