Almost 53 thousand people have already completed a survey, which is the basis for receiving a referral for research under the new preventive program My Health. Only during the first day of launching the form supplemented over 24,000. people. Experts are of the opinion that the program will be successful, which has not been fully succeeded in the case of already quenched 40 plus prevention.
– This is only the first statistical data, but the program will undoubtedly go where it should. This is historically the largest preventive program in Poland, as for our conditions, and certainly recommendable – comments Dr. Michał Sutkowski, president of the ELT College of Family Doctors.
Women more interested
The program is primarily interested in women and people under the age of 50. The data provided to us by the Ministry of Health (on May 8, 2025, 10:00) shows that 81 percent people who completed the survey are less than 50 years old, and 62 percent He was under 40. Women filled 73 percent survey
– Gentlemen will probably never be able to engage as much as women when it comes to health matters. Of course, we will persuade them to do so, although they should really want it themselves – says Michał Sutkowski.
Young people want to take care of their health
In the opinion of doctors, the good results of the My Health program in the first days of action are largely due to the fact that he met with the interest of the youngest of those entitled to participate. 27 percent Applications come from people between the ages of 20 and 29. It is also significant that 96 percent The survey was filled in electronically – via the patient's online account or the Mojeikp application, and these are the channels preferred by younger patients.
– The issue of lowering the age entitling to use the program up to 20 is very important, because it is a very neglected group of patients. There are few young people who want to be treated, but this group is increasing compared to the population of the current 40-, 50-year-olds. So I am not surprised that young people who are aware are willing to use this option. Until now, there was virtually no offer for them after the health balances of children who ended at the age of 19. Great interest is confirmed by the good assumptions of the program – adds Michał Sutkowski.

Interest in greater than in the prevention of 40+
The 40+ prevention program at the end of April is difficult to compare to my health in an explicit approach, mainly due to the fact that the difference in the age entitling to participation is 20 years between them. It is worth noting, however, that the survey in the My Health program was filled by almost as many people in only three days as during the first 9 days of the program of prevention of 40+. The data provided to us by MZ shows that almost 53 thousand have done this. patients (of which just over 20,000 aged 40+). In mid -July 2021, the then Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski He reported that the survey allowing for issuing referrals for research as part of the 40+ prevention was completely completed by 60,000. people.
– I wouldn't cross this old program so much. His disadvantage, however, was that he had no end. Someone did research, put them on ad acta and often ended with his participation. However, if this was done in close cooperation with a doctor who enforced the arrival later, it made sense – says the president of the College of Family Doctors.
My health – how to use?
Launched in May 2025, the My Health program is intended for people over 20 years of age. It includes diagnostics, health advice and prevention. It is implemented by primary healthcare clinics (item), which have a contract for the performance of benefits signed with the National Health Fund. To use the program, you need to complete the survey and then perform the tests ordered on its basis. On the later visit, the patient obtains an individual health plan (IPZ).
