The exchange of opinions between coalition partners on the shape of changes in the method of calculating health insurance contributions has been going on for many months, and in recent days it has become more intense. On Saturday, Donald Tusk showed the direction in which this reform should go. – Certainly, next year no one will pay health insurance premiums for the so-called fixed assets. By the end of the year, we will adopt the draft act on health insurance premiums, said Prime Minister Donald Tusk during Saturday's convention.

Tusk's announcement regarding the contribution
During his speech, the Prime Minister announced that by next year “no one will pay health insurance premiums on so-called fixed assets” i.e. from the part of company assets that are subject to depreciation. – I was hoping that we would reach an agreement on this reform sooner in the ruling coalition. Certainly next year no one will pay health insurance premiums for the so-called fixed assets. We have already held talks not only with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Health, but also with the leaders of our coalition parties, and there is no doubt about that, he said.
Talking about the “second part of the pre-election promise” that the health insurance premium for entrepreneurs and the self-employed “will be lower than the one introduced by Morawiecki,” Prime Minister Tusk announced that the government will adopt the draft health insurance bill by the end of this year. – Together with the coalition partners, we are reaching a model in which the second part of the promise that the health insurance premium for self-employed people and entrepreneurs will be lower than the one introduced by Morawiecki – we will definitely adopt the draft law on health insurance contributions by the end of the year – he announced.

The Prime Minister also said that Law and Justice politicians “persuaded people that the government of the Civic Coalition was a threat to pensioners.” Then no PIS – it was the Civic Coalition and its partners that led to the greatest valorization pensions for 15 years, at the same time guaranteeing funds for the payment of pensions, but also “thirteen-year-olds” and “fourteen-year-olds” – said the Prime Minister. – We have proven during these eight months that this is a chance to really increase the value of the Polish pension – he said.
According to the Prime Minister, “an even bigger lie accompanied the 500+ program.” – It was literally the second day after I returned to Poland from Brussels when I heard “you'll see, Tusk will come back, he will take 500+” – he said. He added that from January 1 this year. The 800+ program is in operation, which in his opinion means “a real increase in the material security of all parents and shows very clearly that people can feel safe with us – also in the financial and material dimension.”
