A car burned down at night in the center of Olsztyn (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship). Firefighters found a body inside. The police are establishing the identity of the victim.
The fire occurred on Narutowicza Street in Olsztyn. Firefighters reported that the car that burned was parked near the garage and there was no need to tow other cars.
Paulina Żur, press officer of the Olsztyn police, said that police officers and a prosecutor worked at the scene. – The body was sent for autopsy. No documents were found during the inspection. We are explaining the causes and circumstances of the incident and establishing the identity of the victim, she said.
The row of garages where the tragic fire occurred is located several dozen meters from multi-story tenement houses and skyscrapers.
