A dozen or so people were injured after a bus accident in Lechów near Opatów (Świętokrzyskie) on national road 74. According to the fire department, several people have serious injuries. The police reported that according to initial information, one person is dead.
Aspirant Małgorzata Perkowska-Kiepas, press officer of the Kielce City Police Headquarters, confirmed the incident. – At the moment, I have very preliminary information. It appears from it that the bus carrying the football team from Ożarów in the Opatów district, for reasons currently unexplained, left its lane and hit a tree – she informed. – There were a total of 19 people in the vehicle, including players aged 16 to 18, the football coach and the driver. At the moment, we have information about one fatality – she said.
