Wind farm in the Baltic: Orlen and Northland Power have started building the first wind farm on Polish Baltic. Its foundations will put 11 shipswhich have just sailed into the sea. “As part of the works conducted 2 out of 78 monopals have already been installed – 100-meter constructions on which they will be installed 15 MW wind turbines” – says Orlen. He emphasizes that these are one of the most advanced solutions on the market. Farm Baltic Power is built in the area approx. 130 km2comparable to the surface Gdynia.

Key elements such as turbine gondolas, cables, steel structures of sea acceptance stations or foundations are created, among others factories in Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Tri -City, Żary and Niemodlin.
