An indictment was sent to the District Court in Ostrołęka against a 41-year-old who severely beat his mother and tried to kill her. The man was abusing a 61-year-old for many years. He was already convicted and he was awarded forbidden to approach the victim. He even threatens life imprisonment.

– Robert D. was accused of attempted murder and causing his mother's injuries and violating his father's bodily integrity and breaking the court prohibitions of contacting his mother and approaching her – said prosecutor Elżbieta Edyta Łukasiewicz, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Ostrołęka.

He brutally attacked his mother

On Christmas Eve of 2024, the police received a call to a home row, which was caused by a resident of one of the houses in the village of Kruki in the Olszewo-Borki commune in the Ostrołęka poviat. The man was very aggressive towards his mother.

According to investigators, the 41-year-old jerked a 61-year-old, and then turned her to the floor, hit his face and torso with his fists, kicked and hit the screwdriver with a cave repeatedly in the chest.

The screams awakened the sleeping husband of a woman who came to her rescue. Then his son left his bloodied mother and attacked his father who wanted to call the police. The older man managed to locate in the room and notify the services. A woman with serious injuries was hospitalized and her son was arrested.

The prosecutor reported that the 41-year-old had committed the alleged acts in the conditions of returning to the crime, i.e. in recidivism. He was punished twice for his mother's abuse, as well as a violation of court prohibitions of contacting and approaching her, as well as for drug offenses.

He did not confess

During the interrogation several times, the man did not plead guilty and gave explanations contrary to the evidence gathered.

Prosecutor Łukasiewicz informed that the conducted court and psychiatric examinations show that during all the accused of the accused of the accused of the accused had a significantly limited ability to recognize the meaning of the act and manage his proceedings.
