The Polish national team under 17 joined the qualifying tournament for the Euro, which takes place at the stadiums in Gryfice and Koszalin. Ireland, Iceland and Belgium also play there, but it is already known that Polish players will not win the competition.
The Polish U-17 national team says goodbye to the European Championships. The defeat with Ireland determined
The team led by Dariusz Gęsior began with a 1: 1 draw with Icelanders. On Saturday she faced the Irish people and she went even worse. After the first half, she drawd goallessly, but in the second part she lost two goals.
Jaden Umeh, a player of the youth teams of Benfica, turned out to be the executioner of Poles. In the 70th minute he took advantage of the situation alone with the goalkeeper – he was played by Charles Akinrintayo, who took over the ball after a misunderstanding between Jakub Falkiewicz and Bryan de Jongh.
Akinrintayo and Umeh also had a direct participation at the second hit. This first fight in the middle of the field with Mateusz Lauryn, then played to the rippedman running in a clean position, who in the 77th minute defeated Jakub again Zieliñski.

The defeat corrupts Poles' dreams of promotion to this year's euro, which will be played in May in Albania. Gęsior's team no longer has mathematical chances of overtaking Belgium (on Saturday they won 2: 1 with Iceland, and three days earlier 1: 0 with Ireland), with which he will face on Tuesday, March 25. The rivals will take place, however, a correspondence duel with the team from the British Isles – only the group winner will be promoted to the tournament.
