During the night blockade of the A4 motorway, police officers with dogs searched for traces of the disappearance of Izabela Parzyszek. The woman disappeared on August 9th when her car broke down on the way to the hospital, where she was supposed to pick up her father. Izabela's family found the car and phone. The police do not rule out several hypotheses, but for now they are not revealing details.

At dawn, the police blocked the A4 motorway. Officers and a tracking dog appeared in the vicinity of the several-kilometer section of Chojnów-Lubiatów. All in connection with the search for 35-year-old Izabela Parzyszek. – The police went to the scene to once again conduct an inspection at the scene, as well as verify all the materials collected so far in the case – said Senior Asp. Łukasz Porębski from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

It was on the A4 motorway that the trace of the woman ended. – Initial penetration may have shown that this person was leaving the road – indicates Dr. Paweł Moczydłowski, criminologist and sociologist. It is possible that the police also wanted to exclude this option. – This is the starting point for taking any action, starting a search – emphasizes Maciej Szuba, detective, former police commander in Poznań.

Izabela Parzyszek disappeared on August 9. She was wearing a long dress and had her hair tied back. She was driving from Bolesławiec to Wrocław.

The woman was supposed to pick up her father from the hospital, but she didn't show up. It was her father who spoke to her on the phone for the last time. “She called to let him know she wouldn't make it because the car broke down,” says Tomasz Parzyszek, husband of the missing Izabela.

That same day, the missing woman's friends found a car abandoned on the emergency lane. It was parked near Kwiatów. The woman's phone was inside the car, but there was no sign of her. – If someone's car broke down, they would have the phone in their hand, in their purse, in their pocket, anywhere close by, because they would be looking for help – Maciej Szuba points out.

They appeal to drivers to check the recordings

According to her husband, the woman did not call for help. She said this in her last conversation with her father. – It cannot be ruled out here, it is also one of the police hypotheses, that this is a so-called intentional disappearance – says Dr. Jerzy Pobocha, a psychiatrist from the Polish Association of Forensic Psychiatry. – If no local traces were found, she was taken away in some other vehicle – believes Dr. Paweł Moczydłowski.

At this point, questions are multiplying, and there are no answers. – Until we know whether the wife got out of the car and went somewhere, or someone took her, then every theory here is good or bad – says the husband of the missing woman.

The condition of the missing woman's car may also help determine the course of events. – What was the breakdown, did it really prevent driving, was it a breakdown due to operational reasons, or was it simply the work of a person who damaged the car so that it would break down somewhere – indicates Maciej Szuba.

The family is trying to reach those who were travelling on the A4 motorway on 9th August and have car camera recordings showing the missing girl. – For now, there are people who saw the car on the motorway, but that's all we know, and we simply don't know what happened to Iza – admits Tomasz Parzyszek.

The police are not saying what they have managed to establish and what versions of events are being considered. – The circumstances of the woman's disappearance raise, in our opinion, many doubts. I would not like to reveal the hypotheses that police specialists are guided by in the search for the time being because it could negatively affect the psychophysical state of the family and the woman – says Senior Asp. Łukasz Porębski.

According to the police, officers from Wrocław, Bolesławiec and Warsaw are involved in the search operation.
