Another fire in the Biebrza National Park in Podlasie. Not more than on Tuesday (April 15), the fire appeared near the town of Trzyrzeczki. Now the fire is stretched from the town of Polkowo towards Kopytkowa. 24 hosts of firefighters take part in the action.

The fire brigade received a notification today at 14.31. The fire broke out in the Biebrza National Park.

From the information we received from young fire Justyna Kłusiewicz, spokeswoman for the Podlasie Voivodship Commander of the State Fire Service in Bialystok, shows that the fire stretches from the town of Polkowo towards Kopytków in the Augustów poviat.

According to information from the PSP Poviat Headquarters in Augustów, the grass is burning in the area covering about 10 hectares.

This is another fire in the Biebrza National Park recently.

On Tuesday (April 15), it burned near the town of Trzygrzeczki in the Sokólski poviat. Firefighters reported to the police that during extinguishing they saw a slight figure about 500 meters.

Grass was burning on March 30

The fire also exploded on March 30, when grasses were burning around the villages of Krasnybór and Jastrzębna First.

“Drought is underway. We are constantly calling for careful handling of fire. Please do not fool the grass. Fires are a very big threat to the unique nature of the park and the surrounding forests, but also for people and their buildings” – the park employees appealed.
