Now, however, the women's FC Barcelona will have a trio of Polish players. As reported by the Catalan daily “Sport”, the new player of “Blaugrana” will be the highly talented midfielder of KKP Diamenty Warszawa – the only 16-year-old Weronika Araśniewicz.
Weronika Araśniewicz is a representative of Poland under 17 and with this team she recently played in the semi-final of the European Championship in this age category. The advancement to the best four of the tournament gave the Polish team a pass to the World Championship, and Araśniewicz, although she was born in 2008, together with goalkeeper Julia Woźniak, found themselves in the best eleven of the tournament.
FC Barcelona has already got to know the Polish midfielder well, as she trained in Catalonia in the winter at the invitation of the largest women's club in Europe.
