Redzimski, who will celebrate his 18th birthday in September, is considered one of the most talented players young generation. He is a two-time European champion under 21 and the son of the coach of the Polish national team, Tomasz Redzimski. He is currently 6th in the ITTF ranking under 19. He is much lower in the world ranking – there he is only 74th.

Now Redzimski has to wait a bit to find out his next opponent. On Monday at 1:00 p.m. there will be a match between Anders Lind and Marcos Freitas. One of them will be the Pole's opponent in the next round. The favorite is the Portuguese, the 17th player in the ITTF ranking, but Lind is also higher in this classification than the Polish representative.
