Finland President Alexander Stubb told journalists on Sunday that in an interview with US President Donald Trump he raised the issue of arms suspension in Ukraine. Stubb met with Trump on Saturday, on the Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida.
– April 20 (this year – ed.) Would be a good time for a complete suspension of weapons (v Ukraine) without any conditions – Alexander Stubb told journalists on Sunday. As he said, “a deadline is needed, and this is Easter and President Donald Trump will be in power for three months.”
Stubb also stated that “Trump's patience to Russia ends” and that United States have “far -reaching” plans if Russia He will not agree to the suspension of the weapon.
Breakfast, turtleneck, lunch
On Saturday, Stubb submitted – as his office reported – an unannounced visit to the property Donald Trump Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach in Florida. The visit had an informal character.
