Young voters are a group that is often forgotten in the campaign – said Kalina Kłopocka from the portal mamprawowiedziec.pl. On TVN24 she told what is most important for the young generation of voters.

Kalina Kłopocka from the portal mamprawowiedziec.pl talked about young voters in the election campaign. – They are quite a large and quite important group. They are also a group that is often forgotten in the campaign and it is no longer about direct demands – she noted.
– Referring to the latest report of the More in Common Polska Foundation and important matters, 80 percent of young citizens aged 18-29 believes that the rulers care more about older than young and two -thirds believe that in a crisis they cannot contact the state and his institution – she pointed out.
As Kłopocka assessed, “young people are not treated in the campaign as if they wanted.” “There is no dialogue or it is very limited and therefore decomposes more extreme,” she added.

What is the most important for young voters?
Kłopocka was asked what is the most important for the youngest voters. – In the previous five years, there was a lot of talk about the climate. It seems to me that this topic, however, has a little bit, especially in the age of war behind our eastern border and the economic crisis – she noted.
– Very often the first, which comes to mind in a public debate when it comes to young people, is of course residential (…). More than half of people aged 29-35 still live with their parents. We have a very large percentage of people who fall into a rent gap, where they cannot afford to buy or rent, but the state cannot offer them a municipal apartment – she mentioned.
Kłopocka also talked about sources from which young voters take information about candidates for the office of president. – According to the same report I referred to, two -thirds of information is derived from Instagram, Facebook and YouTube – she explained.
Do young people try to analyze slogans heard from politicians? “It must be admitted that politicians are often limited to slogans,” she replied.
– On our website we try to prepare collections of candidates' views together with the context and what candidates can refer to. Before the election, we will launch a questionnaire for candidates, where we will ask everyone about clear declarations regarding security issues, migration issues, and economy issues. Then voters will be able to answer themselves and compare themselves with the candidates – she announced.
Presidential elections
