Already on Tuesday, “Gazeta Krakowska” described the case of “an extraordinary change in election preferences” at Electoral Commission No. 95 in Krakow at ul. Stawowa. The official data provided on the website of the National Electoral Commission shows that in the first round 1569 people voted there, and the candidate of the Civic Coalition Rafał Trzaskowski won with the result 550 votes. Karol Nawrocki won 218 votes and was third, behind Sławomir Mentzen. Meanwhile, in the second round they voted by 103 more people, but this time Nawrocki turned out to be a winner – he won more than five times more votes than before (1132). Trzaskowski lost 10 votes, ultimately winning 540.
It is known that the change was not caused by, for example, a mass visit of tourists – according to the same PKW In the second round, no one voted on the basis of a certificate of voting right or correspondence. In addition, preferences in previous elections indicated the opposite sympathy – in 2020 Trzaskowski won 905 votes in the second round, and his opponent Andrzej Duda 343. So what happened?
The Krakow “Gazeta Wyborcza” was asked by the electoral commissioner from Krakow Dagmara Daniec-Cisło. She stated that signals about doubts regarding the result of the vote were reached to the District Electoral Commission, but the reasons for such a result were unknown.
Meanwhile, after disclosing the results from Krakow, reports of similar cases from other election committees throughout Poland are multiplying in social media. Internet users publish screenshots from official voting results in individual committees available on the PKW website, which shows a similar correctness.
