Just after the polls closed, Maia Sandu also thanked all citizens who took part in the vote. She pointed specifically to young people, among whom the turnout was the highest in history. She also appealed to polling station workers, asking them to: attention and correct counting of votes no matter which candidate they support.
Alexander Stoianoglo he called everyone to “behaving calmly, regardless of the numbers.” – Everyone's voice deserves respect, and this is democracy above all maturity in the face of the outcome – said Alexandr Stoianoglo on election night, quoted by newsmaker.md.
