What the act assumes
Pursuant to the amendment to the Act on providing protection to foreigners, the possibility of a temporary, territorial restriction of the right to submit an application for international protection will be able to be introduced by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers at the request of the Minister of the Interior and Administration.
It should take into account “the need to prevent destabilization of the internal situation” in the country and aim to “” reduce the rights of foreigners as low as possible to apply for international protection. ” According to the amendment, the restriction will be temporary, and the period of limitation will not be able to exceed 60 days at a time. This period will be able to be extended for a definite period.
