The former judge who has allegations of espionage and betrayal, called Polish services and at the KGB order asked for a truck with an explosive, which was to enter Belarus from the territory of our country. – It was a work of Polish and Ukrainian services and a contract with Polish border guards to drive this car – he argued on one of the Belarusian stations.

– Belarus want to impose some kind of narrative. They want to create some appearance that this threat goes on our part, on the part of Western Europe to their side. They provoke us – says Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesman for the Polish Ministry of Interior and Administration.

Szmydt, calling the Polish Border Guard, did not use his name. He impersonated Onet journalist Witold Jurasz. It is worth adding that Jurasz is not only a journalist, but former Chargé d'Affaires in Minsk.

– It was simply about the Border Guard spokesman to say one word too much and to achieve such a goal, Belarusians had to pretend to be someone from Poland – says Witold Jurasz.

The provocation was rather unsuccessful, although it is not known how Belarusian services will use it. – This helplessness now shows that the Belarusian services are motivated, trying to ridicule us somewhere, show us somewhere in an unfavorable light – notes Jacek Dobrzyński.

– This is a useful idiot of Szmydt, which was used for propaganda – says Paweł Patuszka, Belarusian oppositionist.

According to Łukashenko's patches, he will get bored of Polish propagandists quickly. – Certainly there is no future in Belarus, he can certainly be used once or two, but later the time will come when he will ask for grace on his knees, pardoning him in the authorities of the Republic of Poland – believes the Belarusian oppositionist. – He was eaten like a sponge because of them, so now he has only propaganda significance – says Witold Jurasz.

Szmydt escaped to Belarus in July last year. He was a judge associated with Solidarity Poland's politicians at the Ministry of Justice and the hero of the hatred scandal.

– Those who are traitors must take into account serious consequences. Everyone who threatens the security of the Polish state, all those who try to attack the Polish border – warns Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak -Kamysz.

Szmydt in Poland is even threatened with life imprisonment.
