The fact that the American president crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border was announced around 8.30 pm by the deputy chief of Polish diplomacy, Piotr Wawrzyk. The train from Kiev arrived at platform number 5 of the station in Przemyśl.
It wasn’t the first time a head of state had come here. However, as Marcin Kwaśny, a TVN24 reporter who watched the preparations for the arrival of the American president, said, there have never been so many services here.
“Just a few hours earlier, there was no indication that the president was coming here Joe Biden. In the evening, however, it was swarming with policemen and vehicles that separated the area of the platform where the president was getting off, said Marcin Kwaśny.
