On the national road number 24 in Przytoczy (Lubuskie), the motorcyclist hit a policeman who tried to stop him for road control. The driver escaped from the scene of the accident. The officer was hospitalized.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 13.20 on national road number 24 in Przytoczy, in the Międzyrzec poviat. A traffic policeman wanted to stop a motorcyclist for road control. He first slowed down and then accelerated and hit the officer.
– The motorcyclist escaped from the scene of the accident, moved with a racer vehicle. The hit policeman was transported to the hospital. He suffered a hand injury, his life is not threatened by danger – said aspirant Mateusz Maksimczyk, spokesman for the Poviat Police Headquarters in Międzyrzecz.
The search for a motorcyclist is underway.
