The Genoese low Boris brought heavy rains to Poland, which caused a lot of damage. On Sunday (September 15), a dam burst in Stronie Śląskie, located above Lądek-Zdrój. Some residents of the flooded towns had to be evacuated. Many people lost all their belongings. Radomir Witwho is a journalist for TVN24, decided to show on social media what his family home looks like. – I believe that Lądek will recover after all this and will once again be this wonderful town, attracting tourists (…), but the people who live here have lost all their property and we must remember that they really need help to cope with all this, with this scale of the tragedy. Because what I have seems like a trifle compared to what they are dealing with. For me, it is a home, the kind I used to drop by, not the kind I live in every day, we will manage. We need to give a lot of support to those who are now left with nothing – the journalist appealed to the observers.
