Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, during his speech at the UN Security Council summit, repeatedly addressed Russian ambassador Vasily Nebenzia. “How does what Russia is doing with Ukrainian kidnapped children differ from what the Nazis did with Polish and Russian children?” he asked.

Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski on Tuesday evening during a speech at the Security Council summit UN pointed out that the permanent representative Russia at the UN Vasily Nebenzya and Russian propagandists “like to talk about the democratically elected government of Ukraine as Nazis.”

– It so happens that in Poland I live three kilometres from the site of a former Nazi filtration camp from World War II. It is known that thousands of children from Poland and the Soviet Union, from the areas around Smolensk and Vitebsk, were imprisoned there – said the minister.

“Up to 800 of these children died, but thousands were taken west to become Germanized, blond, blue-eyed, Aryan children deemed racially appropriate,” he added.

Sikorski: permanent representatives of the Security Council should be guardians of peace

– That's why I have a few questions for the Russian ambassador and his superiors – said Sikorski. – How does what you are doing to the Ukrainian kidnapped children differ from what the German Nazis did to your children and ours – he turned to the Russian ambassador. – How many Russian officials have adopted such stolen Ukrainian children? – he continued.

The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled that the abduction of children is a crime equivalent to genocide. – Permanent representatives of the Security Council should be guardians of peace, and not wage war against children of other nations. This is a disgrace to Russia, which will not be forgiven or forgotten – he emphasized.

At the end of his speech, Sikorski – referring to the fact that Ambassador Nebenzia denies the reality of Soviet-Nazi collaboration in the attack on Poland in 1939 – showed a photo of a joint parade of Russians and Germans. – I hope you recognize Soviet uniforms – he added.
