A car carrying three 18-year-olds and a 17-year-old female friend veered off the road on a straight section of road. During the accident, two men were thrown from the car, both of whom died.
The tragedy occurred at around 8 a.m. Senior Sergeant Piotr Woszczak from the police in Radzyń Podlaski reports that there were most likely no witnesses to the incident. – A driver driving on a straight section from Zbulitowo to Stasinowo saw a damaged car lying in a field. It turned out to be a vehicle that had passed this way a moment earlier and had gone off the road – said the policeman.

– The car was driven by three eighteen-year-old men from Radzyń Podlaski and a woman one year younger, a resident of the Borki commune – he reports.
The teenager and the 18-year-old sitting behind her survived the accident. – Unfortunately, the man driving the car and the passenger sitting behind him were thrown out of the vehicle during the accident. Their lives could not be saved – added Senior Asp. Woszczak.

Explaining the causes
An air ambulance helicopter transported the injured 17-year-old to hospital. The ambulance also took the man sitting behind her from the scene of the accident. Police report that he is in serious condition.
– For now, we are verifying whether the probable driver had a driving license and whether he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident. Based on a blood sample test, we will be able to determine whether he was sober at the time of the incident and whether he was not under the influence of any psychoactive substances – says Senior Asp. Piotr Woszczak.
The circumstances of the tragedy will be investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office in Radzyń Podlaski.
