“The closer the second round, the closer the results will be,” said Rafał Trzaskowski's candidate in “Facts after Facts”, commenting on the presidential survey. When asked if Karol Nawrocki is a difficult rival for him, he replied that “he treats everyone very seriously.”

Rafał Trzaskowski was asked in “Facts after Facts” on TVN24 whether he is worried about the results of the last opinion survey24 for “Facts” TVN and TVN24. According to the study, Trzaskowski conducts 32 percent of support with the results. His quotations, however, fell by a percentage point compared to the previous survey of April 9. The second is the candidate PIS Karol Nawrocki with 26 % support (increase by 4 percentage points).

As the KO candidate assessed, “polls are different”. – The polls are changing. Of course, we draw conclusions from all surveys. However, I spoke over half a year ago how this campaign began, that every voice would count, that it would be very, very close. And that the closer the second round will be, the closer these results will be – said the guest of TVN24.

“Every opponent is difficult”

When asked whether Karol Nawrocki in this campaign is a difficult opponent for him, he replied that “every opponent is difficult and I treat everyone very seriously, because no one must be underestimated.”

– However, of course, it is worth talking about what a given opponent represents himself when it comes to experience, management method, proposals for Poland, even whether he can answer questions in an open manner, whether he had to learn everything – continued Trzaskowski.

According to him, “it is voters who will assess who is much more authentic here, who is more experienced, who will ensure Poland's security.” – And above all, as I say, who is ready to connect us today – he emphasized.

“I think you have to judge me for this”

Guest Anita Werner was asked if he thought that the debate of candidates in Końskie was a mistake. In his opinion, “every debate is good, because then we can give what is most important to us, i.e. all our opinions and suggestions.”

– In the election campaign you just have to do it every day and I have been doing it for six months – added Trzaskowski.

The leader also asked about which moment of this debate in Końskie was the most difficult? For example, the one in which he got a rainbow flag and hid it first, and then Lewica candidate Magdalena Biejat took over from him?

– Gadgets are gadgets. I have been stood on the first barricade for many, many years, when the times were the most difficult and did not talk about defending all those who were attacked, I just defended them – argued Trzaskowski.

– I think that I have to judge me, that I defended both sexual minorities and teachers, and women when it was really very difficult. I will not give in to this type of comments and ratings of gadgets. Because this is not the serious election campaign, but on serious behavior and struggle for the rights of all those who are attacked at the moment – he continued.

– It seems to me that Polish and Poles can trust me in this matter, because I have been doing it for many, many years seriously. And not only through media statements – he added.

“I promise that I will rush the government”

When asked what the last weeks of the presidential campaign will look like, Trzaskowski replied that “you have to work even more intensively, because the fight is going on every voice.”

– I will fight for every voice in the streets of cities, towns, a Polish countryside as I did so far. I think that the most important arguments consist of who has done so far, what experience he has, what action plan has – he noted.

– I promise that I will rush the government to make all promises. I promise that I will be an independent president because I have always been an independent person. I promise that I will take matters into my own hands, because this is the most important thing today. I think these choices are really fundamental – he added.

Health contribution and 800 plus

He also maintained his words that as a president he would sign the Act on lowering the health premium and argued that “this decision would not charge the NFZ fund.”

When asked if he maintains his postulate of restriction 800 plus For Ukrainians who do not pay taxes in Poland, he replied: – But this is common sense, because it is just repairing some gaps.

– This is also a clear signal to all those who observe the debate in Poland. We cannot repeat Germany's mistakes or Swedenwhere the rule of these countries simply said: we accept all migrants. Today, the situation is unique, we have a hybrid war on our eastern border, we must clearly send readable signals. And this is common sense that if Ukrainians work with us, if they pay taxes, if their children go to Polish schools, then the situation looks different – he added.

Candidate KO: I am able to hold the tongue behind my teeth

What Trzaskowski thinks about the princes Szymon Hołownia at his address? – I have been in politics for several years and I have been a serious man. Therefore, nothing irritates me and does not upset me, because today I am focused on talking to Polish women and Poles – said KO's candidate.

He argued that “he is a person who probably connects the most in Polish politics and always reaches his hand to others and is able to hold the tongue behind his teeth, is able to speak a positive language, is able to pull out an open hand to others, not a clenched fist.” – I think Polish women, Poles just know me for many years. However, responding to various types of tapping or malice, not really this Poles expect from a serious political debate – he added.

Trzaskowski “convinces Americans”

In an interview with Time magazine, Donald Trump burdened Kiev responsibility for the beginning of the war. President USA He also announced that “Crimea would remain in Russia.”

Trzaskowski, when asked about this issue, said that “the President of the Republic of Poland should not worry or succumb to emotions, he should only have a plan and clearly talk to partners about this plan.” The presidential candidate emphasized that he regularly talks to this subject with American politicians. – I convince Americans to put pressure primarily on Putin, because we all see that he does not care about peace and that he continues his bestial attacks on Ukraine – said Trzaskowski.

– If Putin, God forbid, could present the end of this war as his victory, he would damage the security of Poland, Europe, but also the United States – argued the guest of “Facts after Facts”.

According to Trzaskowski, “Trump plays a duel in a variety of ways and releases test balloons.” – From what I hear, he slowly realizes that Putin is not a supporter of any agreement and I hope that he will prompt him to put true pressure on the oppressor, and not on the victim of oppression – he added.
