A 26-year-old from Warsaw who threw a bed and a chair from the third floor of a hotel faces up to five years in prison. They fell on two cars parked in front of the hotel. – The detained man participated in a wedding, the young couple rented him a room – says aspirant Agata Krawczyk from the Rawa provincial headquarters. Losses were estimated at over PLN 20,000. zlotys.
The police were alerted on Sunday, November 10, at 11 a.m. The report showed that one of the hotel guests was throwing items of room equipment out the window. “On site, it turned out that the 26-year-old resident of Warsaw was a wedding guest to whom the young couple had rented a room in one of the hotels in Rawa,” says Asp. in a statement on the website of the Rawa police station. Agata Krawczyk, spokeswoman for the district headquarters in Rawa Mazowiecka.
After returning from the wedding, the 26-year-old began to behave aggressively. “He destroyed the furnishings of the room and the doors of other rooms. As if that was not enough, he decided to get rid of the bed with a mattress and a chair by throwing them out the window onto the cars parked in the parking lot,” we read in the statement.
Up to five years in prison
Fortunately, no one was hurt. When arrested by the police, the 26-year-old had nearly three per mille of alcohol in his body. “
After sobering up, he was charged with destruction of property. Now the court will deal with his proceedings. A resident of Warsaw may face a penalty of up to 5 years' imprisonment,” says Asp. Krawczyk.
The losses caused by the 26-year-old were initially estimated at over PLN 20,000. zlotys.
