RCB alert. The Government Security Center has sent a SMS warning against strong winds. The phenomenon will be particularly dangerous in several voivodships.
“Note! Today (05.04) Forecast strong wind. Be careful during outside activity, do not stay and do not park under the trees” – such messages were sent on Saturday to people staying in the provinces:
- Kuyavian-Pomeranian (poviats: Brodnicki, Golub-Dobrzyński, Grudziadzki, Lipnowski, Rypiński, Wąbrzeski, WłocławekWłocławski);
- Łódź (poviats: Brzezinski, Kutnowski, Łęczycki, Łowicki, Rawski ,, Skierniewice, Skierniewicki, Zgierski);
- Mazowieckie (poviats: Ciechanowski, Gostyniński, Grodziski, Mławski, Nowodworski, Płock, Płock, Płoński, Sierpmecki, Sochaczewski, Warsaw West, Żuromiński, Żyrardowski);
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (poviats: Działdowski, Nidzicki, Nowomiejski).

- remove all objects that can be kidnapped by the wind;
- pass the cars to a safe place if they were previously parked under the trees;
- ensure the safety of your animals, especially those staying outside;
- Prepare substitute lighting – flashlights with battery supply. The wind can damage the energy lines;
- Be careful when driving a car, first of all because of the can -bonds and trees, secondly – when leaving the sheltered road to the open space, there is a risk of blowing out the car.
What is RCB alert
RCB alert It is an SMS system of warning against threats. You don't have to sign up for the RCB alert. People who will be in the area of a potential occurrence of a crisis life -threatening, will receive a short text message (SMS) with information on the type of danger along with the location, as well as the source of warning. It does not matter which operator we have concluded the contract.
The amendment to the telecommunications law and some other acts of June 11, 2018 imposes on all operators the obligation to immediately send a message to all users in the area specified by the RCB director. Messages are issued only in exceptional situations that can really threaten human life and health.
