Two freight trains collided in Zabaikalsky Krai in Russia on Sunday. 42 coal wagons derailed, the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office reported. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
The East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office reported that the collision of two freight trains took place on Sunday morning. “As a result of the disaster, 42 coal wagons derailed: 35 wagons from the first train and seven from the second train,” the release said.
The prosecutor's office reported that “no one was injured.” Railway traffic in both directions was blocked. According to the Russian Interfax agency, passenger trains on the Vladivostok – Moscow and Moscow – Vladivostok routes are delayed.

The collision occurred on the Buszuła-Żyriekien section. There are no reports of any injuries. The causes of the disaster are being investigated.
Intelligence reports in Kiev
The Ukrainian side did not comment on the reports regarding the collision of freight trains in Zabaikalsky Krai.
Earlier, military intelligence in Kiev reported an explosion in Ulyanovsk, Russia, which destroyed a railway line. The service did not specify who was behind the attack. However, she commented that “the military logistics of the occupation army of the Military Federation have suffered another complication.”
Ukrainian intelligence also reported an attack on railway locomotives in the city of Krasnodar.
