Two dangerous accidents occurred on the S17 expressway in the Rycki poviat in the Lublin region. In total, six people, including two children, were injured.
The first of the accidents involving three passenger cars occurred on Friday (March 21) around 7pm.
– The cause of the incident was excessive speed. A 70-year-old resident of the Opole poviat, who managed Volkswagen, did not exercise due caution and hit the back of the Ford vehicle preceding him. It was managed by a 35-year-old from the Legionowo poviat, who then hit the back of Audi, which was going before him. This car was driven by a 26 -year -old resident of the Leipzig poviat – passed aspirant Łukasz Filipek from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Ryki.

He hit the barrier
The second accident occurred around 8pm.
– A 59-year-old resident of the Zamość poviat driving a Volvo passenger car did not adjust the speed to traffic conditions, as a result of which during the overtaking maneuver he lost control of the vehicle and pulled over, and then hit the energy-consuming barrier. As a result of this event, a vehicle passenger with injuries was taken to hospital – a policeman said.
