“I trust that there will be explanations here and if someone has not completed anything, he will be settled from this case,” Siemoniak continued.

Siemoniak: maybe you need to change the procedures
Siemoniak was also asked about the case of the former director of the Prime Minister Anna W., who has been in the office of the Prime Minister, who has been suspected of irregularities at the Government Strategic Reserve Agency (RARS). In the public opinion, there are voices of criticism due to the fact that the woman, when she was brought to the interrogation, was shared in handcuffs – on her arms and legs.
On March 31, Deputy Minister Maria Ejchart explained to TOK FM that the prison service did not convince suspects or accused for interrogations. – The police do it in the detention center. In relation to Mrs. Anna W., the Prison Service withdrew from the use of handcuffs. The police decide whether to forget and how to score – explained Ejchart.
“We approach such situations calmly,” the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration commented. To be important that in this situation it was not necessary to apply this kind of handcuffs to a woman, he replied: – Let's change the procedures. On Thursday, Anna W. issued a statement in which she calls for the opportunity to meet with a 13-year-old son who is in the autism spectrum and has ADHD. A spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office Prosecutor Przemysław Nowak said that the investigators submitted an application to the guardianship court for a care order for her son. He informed that no one had submitted a request to see his son with Anna W. indicated that “the situation did not take place” so that the prosecutor would refuse to consent to such vision.
– I read the statement of prosecutor Nowak in this case. It was said that it was alleged that it was not allowed to see the child, and in the meantime no one applied for such vision – Siemoniak referred to it. He stated that “these matters are immediately politicized and should be calmly explained.”
In Tuesday's announcement in the case of Anna W. Przemysław Nowak also refers, among others, to the assumption of suspicious handcuffs. “The prosecutor in this case did not decide on the measures of direct coercion used during the convoy or bringing. In particular, he did not give the command to use the handcuffs. In order to determine what direct coercion measures were applied to the suspect during the lead, aimed at the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice with an appropriate question,” he said.
He added that “during activities on March 27, 2025 at the headquarters of the prosecutor's office, Anna W. did not have handcuffs.”
