The couple was taken to hospital after the 28-year-old drove a minibus into people walking on the sidewalk and hit the wall of a church in Sarbinowo near Koszalin (West Pomeranian Voivodeship). The driver was drunk and had two driving bans.
In the town of Sarbinowo in Western Pomerania at around 4:30 p.m. a bus driver hit pedestrians walking on the sidewalk. As a result of the collision, three people were injured.

As TVN24 reporter Maja Podemska-Smolińska found out, a woman and a man – a married couple – were taken to the hospital.
One woman, who jumped out of the way of a speeding vehicle, fell, suffering only minor injuries. She was treated at the scene.
– After hitting the church wall, the driver of the delivery van tried to leave the scene, but was stopped by witnesses – said Senior Inspector Monika Kosiec from the Koszalin police.
After testing for alcohol in the body, it turned out that the driver had 1.8 per mille. – It also turned out that this 28-year-old resident of the Sianów commune has two active driving bans. He was detained and is in police custody – said Senior Inspector Kosiec.
