Military police officers searched with Antoni Macierewicz. The National Prosecutor's Office explained that the purpose of the act was to recover material evidence from the investigation regarding the Smolensk disaster.
“At the behest of the prosecutor, the officers of the Military Gendarmerie searched for rooms with a former member of the so -called Smolensk subcommittee Antoni Macierewicz. The aim of the action was to recover material evidence from the investigation regarding the Smolensk catastrophe,” it was notified on Friday on Friday on the profile of the National Prosecutor's Office on portal X.
A broader announcement explained that “the National Prosecutor's Office is investigating, among others, finding dozens of subjects (material evidence) provided in 2016 by Antoni Macierewicz's subcommittee from an investigation examining the circumstances of the Smolensk disaster.”
It was reported that “these items have not been returned or recovered to this day.”
“At the same time, evidence was obtained indicating that they could be in the possession of one of the former members of the subcommittee. In view of the above, the rooms were searched today to find the above -mentioned material evidence,” it was reported.
