Slovakia issues an ultimatum to Ukraine

However, the Slovak Prime Minister threatened to suspend diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine if Kiev does not resume transit crude oil from Lukoil. – Using this senseless sanctions it will only harm Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary, and will not affect Russia in any way. If the transit of Russian oil is not resumed in a short time, Slovnaft will not supply diesel fuel to Ukraine, he argued. He stated that diesel fuel supplies from Slovnaft's Bratislava refinery constitute 10 percent of Ukraine's demand.

Robert Fico assured that the problem with the transit of Russian oil will not change his position government regarding the war in Ukraine. – It should be ended with an immediate ceasefire, instead of artificially prolonging it with the unrealistic goal of bringing Russia to its knees and the real intention of lining the pockets of arms companies – he added Prime Minister.
