In many regions of Poland it has turned white and snow is still falling. In some places, the snow cover increased to about 20-30 centimeters. Check where rainfall occurs.
As tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Damian Zdonek reported around 6.30 a.m. on Friday, snow is currently falling. in the waist from Katowice after Warsaw. It rains the heaviest in Małopolska and Mazovia. About 3-5 centimeters of snow has already fallen in places.
The rainfall zone is moving towards Białystok. Thermometers show negative values for both air and, locally, road and sidewalk surfaces, which makes traveling conditions very difficult. The tvnmeteo.pl forecaster warns against possible icing.
Snow is also falling in Pomerania. There, the snow cover has already increased to about 20-30 centimeters in some places.
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first-degree meteorological warnings.
Where the snow falls
– Two rainfall zones are moving over Poland. One is located above the center, exactly above Warsaw. Be careful on the roads, because it is slippery – said Tomasz Wasilewski, presenter of tvnmeteo.pl, on Friday morning on TVN24. – It is also raining south of Warsaw, towards the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, further to the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and the Podkarpackie Voivodeship – he added.
As Wasilewski noted, light snowfalls are also recorded in the north of the country. – It is raining in the Pomeranian and West Pomeranian Voivodeships – he added.
