Some companies transfer millions, others refuse. What's next for the Polish National Foundation?
State Treasury companies are divided on the issue of million-dollar transfers to the Polish National Foundation: some have paid this year, others do not intend to do so. The foundation itself, which became famous for purchasing the “I love Poland” yacht, has a new management board. He is to audit the expenses of his predecessors.
- The founding fund of the Polish National Foundation amounted to PLN 97.5 million at the turn of 2016 and 2017. During the government of the United Right, 17 State Treasury companies contributed to this.
- Today, some of the founding companies no longer want to pay PFN. There are voices about the foundation's unclear goals and “money being thrown away”.

- Interestingly, regardless of whether the companies still support the foundation of the famous yacht “I love Poland” or not, they declare that they intend to analyze the contracts concluded in recent years.
Polish National Foundation (PFN) was established – with money from 17 State Treasury companies – at the turn of 2016 and 2017, during the government of the United Right.
– It will build a brand called Poland, it will build this brand beyond the borders of our country – this is how the then Prime Minister Beata SzydÅ‚o described the foundation's goals.
In the name of the government
Shortly after these words, in 2017, The foundation, commissioned by the government, financed the “Fair Courts” campaign, which… was intended to show the “abuse of the judicial caste” and the need to reform the justice system. It is not known how this “built the Polska brand”, but it certainly waswas consistent with the actions of the United Right government, which was then working on amending the Acts on the National Council of the Judiciary and the Supreme Court.
