Protest against displacement: On the village of Statójków, flooded during the flood in 1997 and 2024, is to be built reservoir. Some residents, who are 92 there, oppose these plans and do not want to be displaced. – I'm 75 years old and will I get off? We do not agree to this. My daughter too He is fighting for us to live here – Tadeusz Werner from Statówków told “Fakt”. 42-year-old Łukasz would not want to move out, who built a house here barely a few years earlier. – A few nice years we were looking for our place on earth and we don't want to move out of here. I am against this project – he says.

They are and willingly for moving out: However, not everyone is so skeptical about displacement. – What to save here? It is still to be fucked – said a woman who was met by journalists of Gazeta Wyborcza a few weeks earlier. The woman predicted that people who built far from the river where the water did not reach would protest. But as you can see after the statements of Mr. Tadeusz, whose water entered the house at a height of 1.8 meters, they are not the only ones who have a problem with water plans Polish.

Residents are divided: 46-year-old Daniel Minda has a house for renovation and is ready for moving, but only if it is treated honestly. However, as he says, it is easier for him because he has no wife or children. In his opinion, many people will eagerly leave stands, because their houses have suffered in the flood, they also add that people know that the water will come back. – We are happy to move out, we only want us to be treated well. We didn't find out anything specific at the meetings. For now, we are suspended. We don't know what to do – a man says to “Fakt”.

Sołtyska says no, but the inhabitants have doubts: Other people who flooded the houses said similarly for “Gazeta Wyborcza”. Some are convinced that they would have come out financially on it than if they stayed. Sołtyska Agnieszka Łyszczarz, however, speaks categorical not for the tank. – A lot of people signed a petition, under an objection that was made during consultations. We do not want this tank and we will fight for it – she said.

The reservoir would protect against the flood Lądek-Zdrój. Construction would last from 2027 to 2034. The decision on the construction of the tank will be made after the end of public consultations.
