The 40-year-old, having three alcohol per body, transported 17 teenagers and one adult by bus. Policemen detained a vehicle near Starachowice (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship) after notification from a worried woman. Drivers are threatened with up to three years in prison.
On Wednesday, early morning policemen received from an concerned woman a report about a bus driver, who probably carried people on the Krzewa-Starachowice route under the influence of alcohol.
The vehicle was stopped after 7 o'clock on the forest section of the renovated road between Tychowo and Starachowice.
The 40-year-old was arrested
“After checking, it turned out that the 40 -year -old driver was in a state of intoxication. A breat with a breathalyzer test showed 3 alcohol per mille in his body. The driver transported a total of 18 passengers, 17 of them were between 15 and 16 years old” – informed asp. Paweł Kusiak, press officer of the Starachowice police.
The man was sent to police custody, where he sober. He will explain himself to court for his behavior. The 40-year-old is punishable by up to three years in prison.
