Studzionka. Drunk carried the child with a quad. He hit the energy pole

The drunk 36-year-old rode a quad with an 8-year-old child, after a while he lost control of the vehicle and hit the energy pole. He had over a promil of alcohol. The man and the child were hospitalized.

The incident occurred on Sunday, May 4, around 18.00 at Teligi Street in Studzionka (Śląskie Voivodeship).

“A 37-year-old man, managing a quad, transported an 8-year-old child. At some point he lost control of the vehicle and hit the energy pole. Emergency services were placed, including the Air Ambulance Service,” says Silesia police.

The man was transported by helicopter to the hospital. The child got there with an ambulance.

It turned out that the driver went on a ride, with over a promil of alcohol in the body. Neither he nor the child was wearing protective helmets.
