MEP Michał Kobosko has resigned from the position of the first vice-president of Poland 2050 – informed on Saturday the Speaker of the Sejm, leader of Poland 2050 Szymon Hołownia. As he said, at the moment he is taking on a different responsibility, “to build our presence in Europe”. He announced that he will be replaced by Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.

Hołownia announced on Saturday during the ongoing National Congress of the Poland 2050 Party that the current first vice-chairman of the party, MEP Michał Kobosko, had resigned from his position. He will be replaced by the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.

– Michał (Kobosko) is a man who has been a symbol of our party and our movement from the very beginning and will remain so. Right now, he's just taking on a different responsibility. His task is to build our presence in Europe, I hope he will do it as our plenipotentiary for European affairs, he said.

The Polish 2050 Leader said that during the National Congress the current political situation, changes in the party's statute and “sharing the work at the central level in a different way” were discussed, which resulted in, among other things, a change in the position of the party's first vice-chairman.

Hołownia emphasized his gratitude to Koboska for the work done so far.
