For the first time in history, the Czech Republic receive only non -Russian oil – Petr Fiala's premiere of this country said on Thursday. The expansion of the Transalpian Tal pipeline and the first deliveries of non -Russian oil from the tanks in the Italian Triesten reached our southern neighbors.

Fiala stated that after over 60 years the Czech Republic is independent of the Friendship pipeline.

Tal+ pipeline

The launch of the Tal pipeline, which after expansion is marked as Tal+, will allow the refineries in the Czech Republic to be completely covered. – We completed the next step on the road to our energy independence – said Prime Minister Fiala.

The implementation of the Tal+project, which allows the bandwidth to increase the transalpine pipeline, began after the Russian invasion of Ukraine In 2022, the Czech Republic used an exception in the system of EU sanctions and could use Russian oil, which created about 50 percent of all supplies of this raw material.
