The next edition of “Train with the Army” has begun

Shooting, pomegranate throw, melee, reacting to alarms or first aid in field conditions. These are one of the key elements in wild and unfriendly terrain that were taught during the course implemented by the army.

– several teaching points. It is a combat training, i.e., for example, a grenade projection, weapon use, medical training, survival training, as well as training on crisis reacting – says Major Michał Binek from the 4th Zielona Góra Anti -aircraft Regiment.

This is an eight -hour course run by military instructors. Survival elements – fire lighting, water treatment and shelter structure, as well as survival rules in urbanized area. Participants learned techniques from training of soldiers.

This could be the first contact with the army. However, training is not binding, they are not a form of any mobilization. – I came with my daughter, 17 years old, also tries to hook here, maybe I will encourage her to serve – says one of the training participants.

The project involves learning the basics of survival and cope in difficult conditions. – I know how to throw a bang grenade, I know how to spread their weapons, submit, very practical, useful messages – says another training participant. – Excess knowledge never hurt anyone. The more that it is actually my safety, the safety of loved ones – another participant echoes him.

On Saturday, classes took place, among others, in Leszno, but selected units every week, until July, will organize trainings for all those aged 15-65.

– Over the next 10 weekends “Train with the army”, later “Holidays with the army”, “Education with the army”, various ways to spend time and improve their skills. It prepares us all for the great operation, which is the universal, voluntary defense training program, which has been starting from next year, we are working on it – says Władysław Kosiniak -Kamysz, deputy prime minister and minister of national defense from the third road.

It is about the announced rebuilding military reserves. The government is to present details in the near future. This weekend, the Military Fair of Service and Labor organized throughout the country was another opportunity to familiarize yourself with the offer of military service.

– Our recruiters will present the possibility of a career and work in the armed forces, this offer is for everyone – says Col. Grzegorz Wawrzynkiewicz, head of the Central Military Recruitment Center.

During the fair, it was convinced that the army was primarily a national service, but also an attractive employer. – Fair is this comprehensive way of informing. Here, in addition to the possibility of talking to soldiers from all armed forces, in addition to the fact that visitors will be able to see military equipment, it is also throughout the entire period of the market a mobile Punt recruitment of the Military Recruitment Center – indicates Major Paweł Badoń, spokesman for the Military Center of Tarnów Recruitment.
