The next Genoese lowlander will reach Poland. Possible “communication difficulties”

As tvnmeteo.pl forecaster Tomasz Wakszyński explains, the zone of continuous rainfall and, in some places, light and sometimes moderate drizzle, which will hit us on Friday, will be associated with the Genoese lowland Finny, whose importance is confirmed by giving it the international name Cassandra. The center of the low pressure will be above Hungaryand the accompanying extensive rainfall zone will cover the entire southwest of our country.

– Rainfall will be quite intense at times, up to 30-40 l/sq m. during the day and night from Friday to Saturday. Such amounts obviously cause traffic difficulties, especially in urbanized areas, hence caution is recommended, especially on the roads – warned the forecaster.

Heavy cloud cover and numerous fogs are expected in the rest of the country.

On Saturday, the weather will continue to be gloomy in most parts of the country. Precipitation will increase to the south of the country, but its intensity will decrease (amounts up to a maximum of 5-7 l/sq m). This will be related to the favorable track of the active Finny low, the center of which, together with the most intense rainfall, will move through northern Romania and further through central Ukraine.

According to Wakszyński, such a scenario will be possible thanks to the presence Urban anticyclone located on the North Sea, which effectively pushes the front zones away from our country.

– There was no such positive factor during the flood – emphasizes the expert.

Conditions will improve on Sunday, but it should be remembered that it will not be as spectacular and immediate as it was a month ago. In autumn, low clouds often persist longer in areas of increased pressure, which will be visible on Sunday.

IN Friday in the south and southeast of the country there will be complete cloudiness with rainfall up to 10-20 l/sq m, in the mountains up to 30-40 l/sq m. The rest of the country will also be cloudy. Weaker, trace rainfall is possible in the center and north-west. The maximum temperature will range from 12 degrees C in the Suwałki region and the south-east to 15-16 degrees C in the north-west. The wind will be north-easterly, light and moderate.

Saturday it will bring cloudy weather with rainfall in the center (1-5 l/sq m) and in the south (5-7 l/sq m). Showers will only be possible in the north. Thermometers will indicate from 11-13 degrees C in most parts of the country to 15 degrees C in Western Pomerania. There will be a weak and moderate wind from the north-east.

The cloudy weather will also continue in… Sunday. There may be some clearing, especially in the north, but in some places there will be fog and traces of rain and drizzle. The maximum temperature will range from 12 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 13 degrees C in the center of the country, to 15 degrees C in Western Pomerania and the Lubusz region. The wind will generally be east and weak.

IN Monday it will be cloudy with clear weather in the center and the east, and in the west there will be moderate to slightly cloudy clouds. It shouldn't be raining. The thermometers will show a maximum of 14 degrees C in the north-east, through 16 degrees C in the center of the country, to 17 degrees C in the west. The wind will blow from the south – it will be moderate in the west and weak in the east.

In Tuesday we can expect moderate cloudiness, with periods of slight cloudiness, without rainfall. The maximum temperature will range from 16 degrees C in the north-east, through 19 degrees C in the center of the country, to 20-21 degrees C in the west. The wind will be light and moderate, south and south-easterly.
