The first Polish edition of Talent Show “Idol” has been in talents. It was there that Ewelina Flinta, Ania Dąbrowska, as well as Tomasz Makowiecki and Szymon Wydra began. But the winner could only be one – feisty, freckled teenager, giving the impression of younger than for her 17 years. Alicja Janoszbecause she was talking about her, she delighted with her voice and stage temperament. After winning, her brilliant career was predicted. When Ali's debut album saw the light of day, it was loud about the young artist, but it was not entirely the popularity she meant. Because although the song “I woke up” all over Poland, Alicja has fallen a lot of hate. Years later, the artist confessed that she had to pay a high price for her success. At the same time, difficult moments taught her that it is worth fighting for her opinion.
“Idol” and “Song about scrambled eggs”
Alicja Janosz She was born on June 4, 1985 in Pszczyna. It quickly turned out that she had musical talent – as an eight -year -old she sang so well that she won the Grand Prix at the Children's Song Festival in Sosnowiec. She began to perform professionally in 1999, when she appeared on the stage in the musical “Peter Pan”. A year later the first triumph came – winning the program “Chance for success” in which she performed the song Kayah. The name turned out to be prophetic, because two years later Alice appeared in the first edition of “Idol”. Full of energy, endowed with a beautiful voice of the 17-year-old, delighted both the jury and the audience of the program. No wonder that she won the talent show. Shortly thereafter she locked herself into the studio and excreted her debut album. Many fans were waiting impatiently for the album. Although there were a lot of positive opinions, Alice also faced hate.
The album simply entitled “Ala Janosz” was promoted by two singles: “change yourself” and “I woke up”. This is the second of them many remember to this day. With the fact that rather under the name “Song about scrambled eggs”, because the most controversy was the fragment: “I woke up, it was not bad / outside the window of the sound / snow, sleepy street / tram Szum / behind the wall singing / and scrambled eggs”. And this unfortunate scrambled egg became the curse of Ali and made many stop taking her seriously.

– Alicja Janosz confessed in an interview with “Fakt”. “I was 17 and I was a girl who loves to sing, but at that moment I did not know what I wanted to sing. To a large extent, what appeared on the first album was totally independent of me, even how I looked on the cover. On the other hand, I fed my name and I also got whips for it” – she explained in a conversation with the “world of stars”.
Life away from the flashlight
In 2003, Alicja performed the song “I don't know how to love Him” during the World Idol competition, in which she finally took eighth place among 11 program participants from around the world. She also failed to win the national eliminations to Eurovisionin which she lost to Blue Cafe, tears and Marcin Rozynek. She was still trying to make a career under the pseudonym Alex, but in time she was getting more and more removed into the shadows. On June 4, 2009, she announced the end of cooperation with Sony BMG. Instead, she began to perform with the Hoodoo Band syndrome. It was there that she met her future husband, drummer, Bartosza Skóbucc. On July 31, 2010, the couple stood on a wedding carpet. “I just wanted to say that exactly 11 years ago we told ourselves 'yes' with this gentleman – Alicja wrote on her Instagram in 2021.
Today, Alicja Janosz is also fulfilled as the mother of Tymon, who was born in 2014. She also released the album dedicated to the youngest, “Alicja Janosz to children”, and even conducted vocal workshops for children. “I am happy because all my life I felt that at some point I would do something for children, because I have always been close to them. I feel children, I have always love them, children are also clinging to me. (…) I thought for a long time that creating for children would make me infantilized. Believe that sometimes it is not easy to be treated seriously when you are a short blonde” – she said in 2019 in 2019 in 2019 Tvn“But although Alice chose her life away from the flash of flashes, contrary to popular opinion, she did not give up her career.
“For years I hear what happened to me because I am not on TV … There are a lot of artists who are not present in the mass media, and they exist, they have their fans. Today, the 40th of the age Alicja Janosz is realizing herself as a singer, composer and songwriter. He has five discs. The last of them, “I love you anyway”, was released in 2023 and was produced by her husband Ali, Bartosza Skólulecki. The artist argues that she does what she loves, just does it away from mainstream. Some time ago, Alicja Janosz proved that she had a considerable distance to herself – she posted a parody of the famous “Song about Scrambled eggs”. Dancing to the music and singing the phrase “Nananana”, she prepared a vegan version in her kitchen, i.e. a tap. Some time ago Alicja also returned to television screens – she appeared in one of the episodes of “Dance with the Stars”. However, those who counted on her performances on the dance floor were disappointed because the artist remained with her plot. The program participants danced to her songs. However, this is not the end, because Ala Janosz recently announced that not only it released another album, but also a book with poems. “This is our beloved project that we have been creating with my husband and beloved musicians for several years. Soon the second album will be released 'Alicja Janosz to Children' and the book,” the artist revealed in an interview with “The World of Stars”.
