On February 11, 2025 at 14.09 In the eastern part of the Gulf of GdaĆsk there was a violation of the airspace above the territorial water of the Republic of Poland by the SU -24MR aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – an operational command of the Armed Forces informed in the communiquĂ©. The incident was to take place due to the failure of the machine navigation system.
On Tuesday, the RSZ operational command published a message in which it was reported that at 14.09 there was a violation of the airspace over Polish territorial waters. As explained, the plane that made a flight from the KrĂłlewiec region, “violated the Polish airspace to a maximum depth of 6.5 km and stayed in it for 1 minute and 12 seconds.”
“The flight of the aircraft was observed by the radiolocation systems of the Polish Armed Forces. The flight route was immediately changed after the intervention of the navigator of the Armed Forces. him due to the failure of the SU -24MR navigation system ” – we read in the communiquĂ©.
It was also ensured that the cast of the Polish Air Defense System around the clock is observing the domestic airspace and remains in constant readiness to ensure its safety.

The event for TVN24 was commented by the deputy spokesman for cod Major Ewa ZĆotnicka, who confirmed the violation of the airspace over Polish waters.

As she explained further, “this violation occurred, as the Russian side pointed out, due to the failure of the navigation system.” – I would like to point out that our Air Defense System, the cast of the duty officer of these systems, conducts 24 -hour observation and monitoring of our Polish aircraft and we are in constant readiness to ensure the security of this space – said ZĆotnicka.
