What was passed? The Act assumes reduction minimum basis for assessment contributions up to 75 percent minimum wage and the liquidation of health insurance contributions on the sale of fixed assets. Ministry of Finance assures that funds have been reserved in the budget for next year to compensate for the loss in the finances of the National Health Fund.
How did the MPs vote? Voted for changes to the Act on health care services financed from public funds 248 politicians from KO, Poland 2050, PSL, Konfederacja, Left, Republicans and Janusz Cieszyński from PIS and non-attached MP Adam Gomoła. However, there were people against the amendment 6 present (all Razem politicians and Jarosław Wałęsa from KO). 171 PiS MPs abstained from voting. 35 did not vote.
The Sejm rejected the PiS project: Let us recall that just a few days before the vote in the Sejm, another proposal regarding health insurance contributions was rejected. Politicians opposition they included the rules for determining the amount of the contribution for entrepreneurs and its possibility tax deductions income from natural persons. This would largely be it restoring rules calculating the contribution before the introduction of the Polish Order by the former government.
