Sunday's “Kawa na Ława” on TVN24 took place in a tense atmosphere. The presenter, Konrad Piasecki, had to intervene several times. – I would like to ask for good manners in this program – he admonished the guests. At the end of the program, he turned to the audience and admitted that he “sympathized” for listening to some moments of politicians' discussions.
There was no shortage of emotions in Sunday's “Kawa na Ława”. Przemysław Wipler from Confederation, Michał Wójcik from Law and Justice, Katarzyna Lubnauer from the Civic Coalition, Tomasz Trela from the Left, Ryszard Petru from Poland 2050 and presidential advisor Alvin Gajadhur first discussed “report” regarding Karol Nawrocki. Later, they talked about, among other things, the gathering momentum of the presidential campaign. Konrad Piasecki, the host of the program, had to silence politicians more than once.
Michał Wójcik from PiS referred to Saturday's convention of the Civic Coalition in Gliwice. Donald Tusk then mentioned a “conversation among a group of friends” where the question was asked whether they would leave their children or grandchildren to Rafał Trzaskowski. – The answer was: “yes, of course.” And Mr. Nawrocki? One of the people I asked looked at me and replied: “Sir, I wouldn't leave the hamster in his care,” Tusk said. – This is not about an authentic anecdote, it is about the essence of the matter – he emphasized.

Wójcik: the hamster defeated Trzaskowski
– Rafał Trzaskowski is a weak candidate, this can be seen after yesterday's convention. Karol Nawrocki is gaining in the eyes of Poles. (…) Yesterday's convention was a great victory for Karol Nawrocki's staff. Chomik defeated Trzaskowski. Tusk said about the hamster that he would not give it to Nawrocki – ed. In the evening I see a photo – Nawrocki is taking care of a hamster – said Wójcik.
On Saturday evening, Karol Nawrocki published a photo with a hamster on his X profile with the caption: “It was a good day. I'm finishing it in the company of a hamster who can feel safe with me.”
Wójcik also praised Nawrocki for helping flood victims. Then Katarzyna Lubnauer from KO joined the discussion, recalling the collection organized by the mayor of Warsaw for flood victims and arguing that it was Trzaskowski who helped the inhabitants of flooded towns more.
“There are limits to arrogance and insolence”
– There are certain limits to the arrogance and insolence that you are showing here – Tomasz Trela from the Left told Wójcik. – If you think that the presidential elections are about the hamster, about pressing barbells, about running, about doing push-ups and identifying with Rocky, you are very wrong. People expect seriousness from the president, not idiocy and outdoor fitness. You are cabaret artists and you will mention Nawrocki, said the MP.
Then an uproar broke out in the studio, Konrad Piasecki intervened and wanted to change the topic of the conversation. – I would like to ask for politeness and good manners in this program – said the host of “Kawa na ława”.
Short circuit on the Wipler – Trela line
When the program was coming to an end, a heated discussion broke out about Jarosław Kaczyński's immunity and the accountability of Law and Justice for eight years of rule, which was announced by the ruling coalition.
Tomasz Trela (Left) reproached Przemysław Wipler (Confederation) for voting against depriving Zbigniew Ziobro of his immunity, even though he sits on the investigative commission into the Pegasus case.
Wipler replied. – It amuses me when a Leftist politician says that they went to these elections to fight for equality, so I'll ask a question: why did you vote against having Minister Joanna Mucha's immunity waived? You only want to lift the immunity of opposition MPs, and what is happening now ridicules the idea of settling accounts between Law and Justice, he said.
Konrad Piasecki wanted to say goodbye to TVN24 viewers, but the program's guests did not allow it. – Like children. You're not even on the air anymore, he said to the guests, and then turned to the viewers. – Thank you and I sympathize with those moments when it was the way it was – summed up the TVN24 journalist. As the credits rolled, he spread his hands and sighed.
