The policemen, using a crowbar and a hammer, entered one of the premises in Praga North. They found vending machines for illegal gambling, as well as, among others, documents and gas weapons.

Policemen from the department for fighting economic crime and corruption and the operational and reconnaissance department of the Warsaw VI Police District Headquarters entered the previously selected premises in Praga Północ, where illegal slot machines were to be located. There were also hidden documents that were the subject of other pending proceedings.

– The police decided to force the premises by force. Inside they found five illegal gambling vending machines, four of them were launched. The operational ones called to the place of the National Tax Administration officers to perform further activities related to their security – he tells the nadkom in the communiqué. They searched all the rooms thoroughly. They found Polish and foreign identity documents, driving license with the data of various people, including stolen ones, as well as data carriers, telephones, banking documentation, payment cards, handwritten notes and gas weapons that could constitute important evidence in another pending proceedings.

Action on Modlińska

Policemen from the Department for the Fight of Economic Crime and Corruption of the Warsaw VI Police Headquarters together with the officers of the Mazovian Customs and Tax Office recently liquidated another premises, located at Modlińska Street in Białołęka. They also entered the strength there.

There were five gambling machines in the premises. They were all secured by officers of the Mazovian Customs and Tax Office and will be the subject of the proceedings conducted by this office.
