The last storm will hit the country on Thursday. – It will probably be a “most serious” storm of this winter in southern California – said Ariel Cohen, a meteorologist from NWS on Tuesday. Parts of Los Angeles and Ventura's counties in California – including areas burned by Palisades and Eaton fires – are threatened with floods.

Heavy rains create a huge risk for areas affected by fires. – Hazardous mud rafting or mud avalanches may occur. The time has come to start preparing for these potentially dangerous conditions, ”Cohen appealed. This storm will also bring heavy snowfall to the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California.
